Career: Tutor (1964-1967), assistant professor (1967-1974), lecturer (1974-1990), associated professor (1990-1991), professor (1992-…), head of Thermodynamic Group (1986-1990), head of Thermodynamics Department (1990-1992, and 2000- …), dean of Faculty of Mechanics (1992-2000), founder of Thermic Engine and Equipment Engineering in Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.

7. Achievements: An original method for lubrication bearing calculus. Numerical simultaneous integration of differential equations of thermodynamics lubrication. Typing of heat recuperators for forging furnaces. Contractor of 2 Tempus Programs.
